Office Policies

Cancellations

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:


24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a 25% fee of your scheduled appointment. Illness and emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged a 50% fee of their “missed” appointment.


Gift Certificate Holders

Gift certificate holders are responsible for giving 24 hour advance notice for cancelling their appointment. They will be subject to fees for late cancellations and no-shows.


All invoices must be paid before your next appointment.


Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. 

If you are going to be late please contact the office right away. Your appointment may have to be rescheduled as to not interfere with other appointments.

Once you are 15 minutes late, if you have not called, you have missed your appointment and will be invoiced for the no-show fee.


Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. If you are new to us please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a consent form.
